Skrewball Whiskey’s Halloween-inspired PB&J launch party at the Angel Orensanz Foundation boasted creative costumes, lively music, great cocktails, and the new peanut butter and jelly whiskey, making for an entertaining night in NYC.
Skrewball Whiskey celebrated the launch of its new PB&J Whiskey with The Perfect Pair: A PB&J Affair, a Halloween-inspired gathering at the Angel Orensanz Foundation on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Housed in a former synagogue that has since been transformed into an arts and events venue, the historic space provided a distinctive backdrop for an evening combining spirits, entertainment, and immersive brand experiences.

The venue itself was one of the evening’s highlights, with unusual decor, dramatic architecture, and a ceiling illuminated in a blood-red hue that gave the entire space a distinctly creepy, Halloween-ready atmosphere. Guests arrived in creative costumes, while music fit for some proper NYC clubs played, specialty cocktails kept flowing, and interactive installations kept the energy going throughout the night. Of course, the new whiskey was the main attraction, and guests were impressed when given the chance to try it. Skrewball’s peanut butter whiskey already brings a playful twist to a traditional spirit, and the new PB&J expression takes that concept further, building an entire experience around the familiar pairing of peanut butter and jelly.
The event also featured a PB&J-inspired experience created in collaboration with CHAIN, alongside music by Angel & Dren and plenty of Skrewball cocktails to enjoy. Guests walked away with goodies, including keychains and a deck of cards as prizes, while costume-wearers entered the costume contest and had their pictures taken multiple times throughout the evening. Dubbed the “Dynamic Duo” Costume Contest, the competition was judged by Phillipe Blond of the fashion label The Blonds and featured six finalist couples. Reality television personalities Ani Bollock and John Sterkaj ultimately took home the win with their PB&J-inspired costumes.

Between the elaborate costumes, the lively dance floor, and the cocktails flowing throughout the venue, the party made for an entertaining way to spend an evening in the city. Skrewball managed to turn a whiskey launch into something more interactive than a conventional tasting, and guests left having enjoyed both the new PB&J flavor and the experience surrounding it.
