Mexican fashion brand CARAVANA rang in its fifteenth anniversary with an intimate sunset gathering at a private residence in La Quinta’s Madison Club during Festival Weekend 1.
During the first weekend of festival season, the brand brought together artists and friends at a private home. The evening had all the things you’d want from a CARAVANA moment: golden hour in the mountains and Mexican hospitality. Not to mention great music and dancing that kept on as the sun went down. It was the perfect pre-festival situation for day zero (the Thursday before Coachella).
Originating in Valladolid Mexico, the vision behind the clothing was centered around a light expressive feel rooted in artisanal integrity. CARAVANA works with independent artisans. Many from Italy, India, Peru, Madagascar and of course Mexico. The clothes and textures can be worn across different climates, places, and occasions. Whether you’re in Tulum, Egypt, or Coachella the styling and earthy hand made elements are the perfect outfit choice to look and feel good. It can be difficult blending those two things together. Hand made pieces and elegance in one but CARAVANA found a way to make it work very well.

Celebrating their fifteenth anniversary in the desert wasn’t on accident. The heat, the ambiance, and everyones willingness to step it up for festival season seemed like the perfect fit for the brand. It’s true. The dedication people put into their outfits is admirable and that same energy is something that carries throughout the brands identity. Dressing with confidence and intention is something everyone can aspire to regardless if you are a festival goer or fan of the brand.
Fifteen years later and the brand is still doing their thing independently and with style. From Riyadh to Ibiza and beyond the brand is blending cultural air with beautiful wearable fabrics. Drawing many to the brand and inspiring plenty of others. Guests at the celebration included Becky G, Winnie Harlow, Evan Ross, and Shanina Shaik.
