On the evening of Wednesday, July 24th, The Knockturnal was transported into a wine-soaked, sensuous romp set in the Italian countryside at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in NYC.
The Gothic Revival architecture inside provided the perfect setting for the enchanting event. The venue was meticulously crafted with Italian finery, statement furniture and classical music with a fun modern twist, evoking the opulence and elegance of the Roman era, making it the perfect immersive experience for guests.

As guests arrived, they were greeted by the melodious sounds of trumpeters, whose fanfares announced each entrance setting an extravagant tone for the evening. This ceremonial welcome created an air of anticipation and excitement, perfectly mirroring the ambiance of Netflix’s latest darkly humorous series, The Decameron.
Inside the venue, the atmosphere was nothing short of spectacular. Attendees were treated to a selection of the finest wines and apple spritzes, each sip transporting them further into the lush Italian countryside. A brilliantly curated charcuterie board fest, with an assortment of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments, offered a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The culinary delights were a perfect complement to the evening’s theme, enhancing the immersive experience deeper.
