Buenas vibras (Good vibes) were not the only thing DJ VRWVY shared with the crowd on her latest stop of the “Look Where Music Got Us Tour” this past Friday night at The Point in Chicago.
The holiday season is officially upon us. Now that Halloween is over it’s time to get into the Christmas spirit. Hilton Hotels & Resorts and the Hallmark Channel have partnered up to bring the spirit of the holidays to travelers, fans, and viewers. Anyone can now feel like they are in a Hallmark Christmas movie by booking a stay at select Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties in New York, Houston, and Chicago all inspired by Hallmark’s beloved “Countdown to Christmas” movies. Each of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hallmark Channel suites will feature festive decor that is reflective of the property’s locale, as well as symbols from “Countdown to Christmas” movies.
The Knockturnal had the chance to experience the magic firsthand at Hilton Chicago in the “Santa Summit” suite. The holiday suite is fit for the man of the hour, himself! The merry guest room offers festivities that inspire the spirit of friendship and adventure, featuring vintage Santa décor, life-sized reindeer, a Santa-themed bed and cookie kit, a heartwarming wall installation for Letters to Santa, and much more. What’s more, the room was created to bring to life the all-new original Hallmark Channel holiday movie premiere, “The Santa Summit”, which centers around the true meaning of the holidays and the bonds of friendship. As a special surprise for travelers slumbering in the Santa Summit suite, Mr. Claus has even guaranteed a spot on the nice list following each stay! In the hotel lobby, guests staying at this historic hotel will be transported into the ultimate holiday stay with a 24-foot Christmas tree decorated with nearly 2,000 inches of garland, and a gingerbread replica of the Hilton Chicago, complete with Chicago’s iconic skyline. Guests and Hallmark fans alike can even take part in finding Santa’s Missing Buttons, expertly hidden throughout the hotel, to receive a treat from the Hallmark Holiday Cart.

We only want to see you laughing in the purple rain or the purple rain inspired room at Prince The Immersive Experience in Chicago. The newly open exhibit invites Prince fans and soon to be fans to immerse themselves in the music and life of Prince. The experience takes visitors through 10 multidimensional rooms that walk them through the iconic singer’s life, creative evolution, and classic sound in a new and illuminating way.
From the moment you walk in striking images showcasing the icon are all around. Each room gives fans a different sensory experience through light, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. You can can step inside the Purple Rain album cover and rev up the beloved motorcycle, mix an iconic greatest hit in Prince’s beloved Paisley Park workspace Studio A; and let loose on the dance floor with an audio visual dance party designed by Prince’s lighting designer, Roy Bennett.

On collaborating with The Prince Estate, Chief Operating Officer of Superfly, Richard Gay told the Knockturnal, “It was unbelievable just for the stories, history, and just as a fan-I feel really privileged to be a part of this.”
Authenticity was also centered in the creation of this experience. “It was important to work with the estate because authenticity is everything to us at Superfly and it’s about the fans. The Experience does features historic wardrobe pieces, photography, instruments, and other items courtesy of The Prince Estate. Prince: The Immersive Experience is open in Chicago now through October 9. Guests can reserve timed entry tickets starting at $39.50. Jazmine Sullivan Beams at Exclusive Lollapalooza Pre-Show Performance
It’s the vocals and collaboration for us! Before her debut Lollapalooza performance in “The Windy City”, two-time Grammy Award winner Jazmine Sullivan partnered with IHG Hotels & Resorts to give some fans an exclusive rooftop party last Wednesday (July 27).
The packed event took place at Boleo Rooftop in Chicago. Guests were also invited to try two specialty cocktails including the “Piña Co-Lolla” and a “Six Thousand”, a nod to the 6000+ open hotels by unveiling the “6,000 Club,” a collection of new properties from IHG.
Once she took the stage Miss Sulivan performed a medley of her biggest hits for the crowd, “Bust Your Windows”, “Pick Up Your Feelings”, and “Insecure.” Fans were singing along to every word and trying to record all of the R&B singer’s high notes. She served vocals and stunned with a beaming hot pink Sandro shirt and Stuart Weitzman heels.

Jazmine also shared that she was invited to curate her own suite at the Kimpton Gray Hotel by IHG Hotels & Resorts. One lucky IHG rewards member was able to enjoy a luxurious five-night stay in a suite that featured all of Jazmine’s travel essentials, from calming scents to vegan snacks and immune-strengthening juices.
