Chicago’s Carbon Chicago turned into the city’s hottest late-night destination this weekend as NYLON debuted its NYLON Nights event series in the city for the first time, using Lollapalooza weekend as the perfect excuse for a star-studded celebration of music, beauty, and culture.
The invite-only bash, NYLON Nights Chicago Presented by NYX Professional Makeup, powered by NYLON’s Membership program, drew a crowd of musicians, influencers, and creatives for a night that had all the easy, laid-back energy of a friends-only bash. Dance music duo me n ü headlined the evening, with rising DJ Hayden Leaf bookending the night as the opening and closing act.

The Chicago stop builds on a hot streak for NYLON’s live event push, following a residency at The Surf Lodge and a two-night takeover of Mary Lou’s during F1 weekend. It’s all part of NYLON Membership, a program designed for what the brand calls today’s “cultural connectors and scene-shapers,” offering access to NYLON-hosted events, brand partnerships, and VIP entry to exclusive moments.
“Bringing NYLON Nights to Chicago during Lollapalooza weekend was an exciting milestone for NYLON,” said BDG CEO Bryan Goldberg. “Seeing our members, partners, artists, and creators come together for a night celebrating music, creativity, and community is exactly what NYLON Membership is all about.”
Beauty took center stage courtesy of presenting partner NYX Professional Makeup, which transformed part of the venue into its “Midnight Oasis” — an immersive setup complete with exclusive cocktails, recovery rituals, and first looks at Smushy SOS, the brand’s newest launch and its first-ever lip mask collection. Guests got hands-on samples throughout the night, making sure no one’s glam faded before last call.

And the guest list didn’t disappoint, with a lineup of familiar faces from the worlds of music, film, and social media. Spotted in the crowd were Chase Infiniti, Owen Thiele, Avani Gregg, Kiki Wong, Tefi Pessoa, Lucy Freyer, Alisha Marie, Eric Sedeño, Amora Cacheé, Andrew Spencer, Austin Shepherd, Austin Sprinz, Danielle Ruhl, Dom Gabriel, Greg Grippo, Hanako Greensmith, Jarrette Jones, Jimmy Presnell, Know Good, Madi Monroe, Mallory Zapata, Miranda Rae Mayo, Natalie Lee, Simon Grossmann, Snacktime, Sunshine, The Army / The Navy, and Whitney Whitney, among many others.

With Chicago now added to its growing list of stops, NYLON Nights looks poised to keep expanding its footprint — proof that the brand’s mix of music, beauty, and members-only exclusivity is striking a chord well beyond its digital pages.
