Always Expect More from a Night Out with a Dorsia Membership and a Ketel One Martini

The brand duo surprise guests with an American Psycho—esque cocktail and fine-dining experience.

Dorsia, the premier gateway to modern dining and exclusivity, and Ketel One, creators of the best family-made vodka, have teamed up to allow guests to experience luxury, class, and a touch of nostalgia as they host a one-night-only dinner and cocktail evening.

In a tour-de-force of class and culture, Ketel One Family Made Vodka joined forces with Dorsia, the exclusive hospitality-tech platform renowned for securing the most elusive dining reservations, to bring the mythical magnetism of the fictional Dorsia from the film American Psycho (which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year) to life for a single, unforgettable evening this past week on June 3. This event, set in one of New York City’s most coveted dining spots, celebrated those who live and breathe culture, cuisine, and elevated nightlife, complete with iconic Ketel One martinis as the drink of choice.

It was an immersive experience designed for tastemakers who appreciate rare moments and iconic venues, brought together by two brands that define modern sophistication and access. As someone who weaves these qualities into my daily, I could not resist accepting the invitation to attend this tantalizing event.

Upon reaching the restaurant with my date (we both looked fashionably immaculate, I might add. We had adhered to the theme of ’80s business chic, and I looked as if I had just come home after buying some more IBM stock), I was immediately impressed by the level of detail and intricacy given to the interior stylings. Blanketed by dim lighting, golden and brass furnishings, and an antique air that was no doubt aided by the multitude of paintings and ceiling adornments, the guests talked amongst themselves in a space that immediately screamed exclusive and noteworthy. I made my way to the bar and was able to try the signature cocktail of the night, the Ketel One dirty martini, dubbed the First Name Basis, complete with olive brine and a blue-cheese olive. I was transported to another world.

I have to mention the care taken in establishing the 80s-90s theme—every item in the event space was fitting and nostalgic. I saw several Sony Walkmans littering the space, inviting guests to pop in a cassette and hit play, and old portable phones to be used as props. There were also Polaroid cameras resting on tables or the arms of couches. I grabbed one and was able to instantly develop several pictures that I absolutely love. These props added to the atmosphere of the event and were a fun vehicle for interactivity that I really appreciated.

I saw a charcuterie spread with various cheeses and cured meats, as well as a massive martini tower. There was even the opportunity for guests to receive their own golden cocktail skewers, enclosed in a case engraved with text of their choosing. It all really did fit the grand promises of a restaurant that Patrick Bateman would attempt to attend, and I loved it.

As for the restaurant itself, the food was amazing. Throughout the night, waiters flew by, handing out hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. I particularly enjoyed the mini olive tapenade toast, and I had several. For the main course, I was able to enjoy a fine salad and frites maison. There was a steak dish and a seafood tower also available (which I did not try due to my vegetarianism). We were able to finish the meal with a chocolate cream mousse, which was absolutely delectable.

While I enjoyed myself, Dorsia was cooking something bigger behind the scenes. Extending beyond this event, Ketel One Vodka is offering fans a chance to step into this exclusive world through a social media giveaway, awarding three winners a Dorsia Premium Membership for VIP access to top restaurants and cultural events. The Dirty Martini tower Courtesy of Dorsia and Ketel OneTo further cement the collaboration, the “Drinks on Dorsia” program will roll out across select NYC restaurants, where members can enjoy a signature Ketel One cocktail with their reservation. From what I experienced at the event and through this promotion, it is clear that this partnership is more than a celebration of nightlife—it’s a cultural statement about what it means to experience hospitality at the highest level.

Ketel One vodka cannot be beat in terms of flavor and smoothness; the quality is immediately apparent. Paired with a wonderful evening right off the Dorsia membership program, it is clear that any night with both of these together will be a night to remember. I encourage everybody to try Ketel One Family Made Vodka and to check out www.dorsia.com for your next adventure.
