Where Brands and Community Collided: Inside the What She Said Speaker Series at W Hoboken

On February 15, W Hoboken partnered with Modern Day Wife to host the latest installment of the What She Said Speaker Series—an inspiring celebration spotlighting women across fashion, beauty, wellness, and business.

Timed to coincide with New York Fashion Week, the annual event once again amplified the voices of women who are redefining industries and challenging traditional norms. The event welcomed nearly 1,000 attendees for a day of thought-provoking conversations and unforgettable experiences. Guests heard from a lineup of celebrities, creators, founders, designers, and CEOs who shared their journeys, lessons, and visions for the future. The evening was presented in partnership with New Beauty Magazine, Gurus Magazine, and The Knockturnal.

Beyond the panels, attendees were immersed in a full-scale experiential showcase. Highlights included a fashion show, live entertainment, and an exclusive tutorial featuring Lavinia Errico, co-founder of Equinox, alongside Ryan Chen, founder and CEO of CRWD. Throughout the venue, interactive pop-up shops and curated photo moments brought the energy of the night to life.

Exhibitors such as Lumara, known for its premium red light therapy solutions, and EpicLight Beauty, a skin-first makeup brand focused on age-defying, clinically backed formulas, gave guests hands-on access to innovative wellness and beauty offerings. Models and speakers were treated backstage by PiperBlue Cosmetics, which provided organic, clean beauty products, and Salon Gatto, offering expert hair styling services. Together, these partners embodied the Modern Day Wife vision—where elevated beauty, wellness, and intentional experiences seamlessly connect.

The event also featured a wide range of interactive brand activations, influencer lounges, and immersive pop-up moments, allowing guests to explore, engage, and connect throughout the day.
