The beauty and wellness industries lit up the Javits Convention Center once again as the International Beauty Show (IBS) New York and the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference (IECSC) New York returned from March 23–25, 2025.

With more than 32,000 attendees—a 6% increase from 2024—and 35% more new exhibitors, this year’s dual conference brought the energy, innovation, and industry excellence attendees have come to expect, and then some. And yes, it was exactly what you’d imagine—a colorful, inspiring, and fast-paced weekend filled with glam, grit, and groundbreaking ideas.

From the moment the doors opened, the vibe was electric. Industry professionals from all corners of the globe were treated to one-of-a-kind experiences. The Glam & Go Showcase Stage delivered live demos from beauty legends like Byrd Mena, whose Live Fashion Hair debut had the crowd buzzing. The Fades & Blades Barber Battle made a triumphant return, sharper than ever.

The What’s New for You Zone was a highlight, brimming with brand-new product launches and passionate first-time exhibitors eager to show off their innovations. In the Business District, salon and spa owners soaked up expert advice and actionable insights to level up their operations. A standout favorite? The Say Yes to You Lounge, where attendees enjoyed free headshots and the chance to see themselves on a custom magazine cover. Talk about a confidence boost!

Between classes and activations, the exhibit hall was where the magic happened. With more than 430 brands—including 166 exciting newcomers—the floor was packed with everything from high-tech tools to treatments. Standout booths included Pureo Natural Products, Camille Rose, Cocco Pro, Cree, Dabalash, and Remote Nails, each offering something new, unique, and worth adding to your beauty arsenal. Household names like Andis, Dermalogica, and LightStim shared space with up-and-coming indie brands, many of which were the surprise hits of the weekend. Attendees had the chance to grab exclusive, show-only pricing and get hands-on with the latest products transforming the beauty and wellness industries.

This year also saw a huge boost in education—proof that beauty pros are prioritizing knowledge and skill-building more than ever. A 91% jump in class registrations was recorded, with over 280 workshops, demos, and sessionshosted by icons like Candy Shaw, Presley Poe, Dr. Erin Madigan-Fleck, and Kirsten Goetzelman. Whether you were there to sharpen your technique or learn the latest in esthetics and business, the opportunities to grow were endless.

Couldn’t make it to New York? Don’t worry—there are more opportunities on the horizon. Mark your calendars for these upcoming events:

  • IBS & IECSC Las Vegas – June 21–23, 2025 – Las Vegas Convention Center
  • IECSC Florida – September 28–29, 2025 – Palm Beach Convention Center
  • BS & IECSC New York – March 8–10, 2026 – Back at the Javits Center

It attracts salon owners, hair stylists, makeup artists, nail technicians, and product innovators for three days of education, networking, and top-tier brand exposure. The show offers access to hundreds of beauty brands and legendary educators—all under one roof.
