After much anticipation, the second season of AppleTV+’s Silo is coming soon to the streamer!

In the new season of Silo, Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) is making her way through a desolate space, once known as Earth. While most people within the silo have discovered the truth about the outside world, many cannot believe that Juliette was still alive. It is said that anyone who leaves the silo is unlikely to survive, although Juliette turns out to be the exception.

The new season opens with Juliette continuing her search for the truth about the world.  The series has also welcomed a new character, Solo, played by Steve Zahn. Solo has a wealth of knowledge about the world, teaching Juliette about birds, elephants and even classic book titles.

Elsewhere, characters who remain in the silo are faced with a decision: either side with Juliette or their community leaders. This dilemma opens up space for an uprising of those who wholeheartedly believed in the teachings of their leadership and feel betrayed by the lies.

The silo’s leaders, Bernard and Sims, played by Tim Robbins and Common, work hard to save face and continue to speak of the false claims. All while the newfound knowledge of the truth is ravaging the silo.

The remaining characters look to Juliette’s bravery and see her as a catalyst for change in the community. They work together to continue exposing the truth in order to create a sense of meaning in the silo.

In conversation with the cast, they detail their characters’ development and how they believe themes of power, truth and manipulation add to the chaos of the pending rebellion.

Silo Season 2 premieres November 15 on Apple TV+.
