Earlier this month elite tastemakers and influencers came together for a delightful night at Rabbit Hole Distillery.
Invited guests came together in Louisville, KY on the eve of the 149th Kentucky Derby for a magical celebration. The ravishing night showcased exquisite sips and tastings of the quintessential bourbon whiskey that was launched by Kaveh Zamanian.
Musicians played over the crowd who gathered in The Rabbit Room as they happily chatted over a divine dinner before the big race at Churchill Downs. The cocktail menu highlights included handcrafted drinks with premium ingredients and Rabbit Hole Bourbon & Whiskey.
The night produced by and Makers House Creative toasted the Founder’s Collection with Rabbit Hole Raceking with five grain double chocolate malt Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Guests enjoyed the stunning candle light meal in a ravishing setting just outside the distillery.
The soiree was enlivened over cherished memories created on the culinary journey with a local greens mixed salad followed by a smoked beef tenderloin served with bourbon demi glace and creme fraiche.
After the grand meal, crowd favorite drinks were served. The glamorous evening was then filled with tantalizing live music as attendees sipped on Herigold with high rye double malt Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey; and the Cavehill with four grain double malt Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Other cocktails were enjoyed such as The Velvetten with mixed bespoke gin, boxergrail, italicus, lavender syrup, lemon juice and lemon wheel.
The night was a perfect way to celebrate Derby as well as Rabbit Hole’s incredible portfolio and the founder. Zamanian’s true calling was set into motion when he met and fell in love with his wife Heather, a native of Louisville.
It was then that Kaveh’s passion for America’s native spirit took hold. Driven by the desire to put Rabbit Hole at the forefront of the American spirits category, he put everything on the line to start a spirit brand that would do just that.
At a time when most bourbon on the market is made from only a handful of recipes, Kaveh’s one-of-a-kind mash bills have created a groundswell within the category, inspiring bourbon drinkers to learn more about America’s native spirit and begin to question the status quo.
