The Coca-Cola Company has embarked on a groundbreaking musical experiment, teaming up with two of the most celebrated names in the history of music sampling, Mark Ronson and Madlib, to introduce “Recycled Records.”

Creative masters Mark Ronson and Madlib have chopped, looped, and distorted recycled sounds, vocals, and ambient noises into an imaginative collection of seven one-of-a-kind tracks to celebrate Sprite, Fresca and Seagram’s transition from green to clear packaging. For Ronson and Madlib, sampling is more than just an art form, it’s a way of life. They’ve used their expertise to transform unconventional sounds like the beeping of a forklift and the sound of air blown into a plastic bottle to innovative compositions.

The documentary-style short film that accompanies the campaign, narrated by critically acclaimed artist and female pioneer of rap, MC Lyte, takes viewers on a journey through the creative process, from sound recordings at recycling facilities nationwide to behind-the-scenes glimpses into the studios of Ronson and Madlib.

Watch the film featuring Marc Ronson and Madlib to discover the connection between the heritage of music sampling and the closed loop recycling process, and see how the rich soundscapes, imaginative beats and riveting visuals are translated from the facilities to their studios.

You can also join in on the magic and take the “Recycled Records” beat machine for a spin to create your own musical compositions at www.cokeurl.com/greentoclear. Here, fans can listen to uniquely made tracks and create a variety of sounds. The campaign includes a versatile sound library in addition to the interactive digital beat machine, giving you the chance to remix your own compositions used by the two musical legends.

With an EP made from sounds taken from the bottle-to-bottle recycling process, alongside a versatile sound library and interactive beat machine, a project like this is one-of-a-kind. This partnership is more than just a celebration of music and creativity – it’s also a call to action towards a more sustainable future. While packaging innovation alone won’t solve the plastic waste crisis, collaborations like this activate further steps towards sustainability. So, join in on the magic of multiple uses and groove to the beat of Recycled Records!
