Better late than never! We’ve rounded up a couple of last week’s new electronic releases. From GusGus to CloZee, check out some of our favorite recent projects.

GUSGUS – OUR WORLD [OROOM]

Without skipping a beat, GusGus continue their early-year momentum with the release of another sonically engrossing single, “Our World”.  This marks the third single off their forthcoming album Mobile Home, slated for a late May release.  Driven forward by Daníel Ágúst’s seductive vocals, Margrét Rán’s commanding chorus lead, and an explosion of quivering synths, “Our World” provokes the rave nostalgia in all of us. As electronic veterans themselves, GusGus have continuously proven their ability to encapsulate a moment in an immaculate production, and their latest is no exception to the rule. A sonic exhibit of their artistic perspective, “Our World” provides us with an escape from our current reality. Close your eyes and allow yourself to be immersed in the inner workings of their world.

JUS KNO’ – TIME WILL COME [FANECA MUSIC]

Maintaining momentum sparked by the release of the lead single from their forthcoming album ‘Looped Circles’, Madrid’s IDM, house and techno producer duo Jus Kno’ celebrate the release of the record’s penultimate single. Peppered with precise percussion from the onset followed by sultry chord progression, “Time Will Tell” encapsulates the melancholic intricacies embodying Jus Kno’s signature sound.  Expanding the sonic space, string arpegios and guitar detailing accentuates the somber single that precedes ‘Looped Circles’ full release.  Maintaining continuity in tone to its’ predecessor whilst varying in execution, the two singles illustrate an album that boasts character and identity across its 9 productions.  Accompanied by a striking visualizer, the release brims with raw creativity that’s channeled across all of their mediums of choice.

CHEE – PARALYSIS ANALYSIS EP [DEADBEATS]

Bass maven CHEE is anything but ordinary. A natural-born visionary with a penchant for all things explosive, CHEE returns to the frontlines of electronic dance music with his latest. Paralysis Analysis distills technical dance music with the familiar markings of mainstage bass. A symbolic passing of the torch, the EP also includes a collaboration with long-time fan and fervent supporter Mr. Carmack. Equipped with a brilliance so luminous, Paralysis Analysis shines a light on sounds never-before-heard in contemporary bass. Blending textural synths with geometric sound-design, Paralysis Analysis is a cutting-edge triumph with a fierce bravado. Experimental and accessible to boot, Paralysis Analysis is expected to propel CHEE further into his blossoming legend status.

VARIOUS – EMERGENCE: CURATED BY CLOZEE [GRAVITAS]

French world bass star CloZee has returned Gravitas to put together a star-studded array of tracks for her debut compilation, Emergence. Championing emerging and established artists in the bass realm, the compilation weaves 15 tracks into one unified tracklist. In a time of great division and strike, Emergence symbolizes the beauty of the collective through hopeful music. From known names such as Fakear and Esseks to rising talent such as Dysphemic and capshun, Emergence is all about discovery.

KADEBOSTANY – TAKE ME TO THE MOON FT. VALERIA STOICA

Destined ruler of a modern pop empire, Knock favorite Kadebostany delivers a next-tier genre-defining sonic experience with a new single “Take Me To The Moon” featuring Valeria Stoica. Kadebostany draws a modern vision of pop music, best described by its leader as “sophisticated music with mass appeal”. The act transcends senses, seducing through its sphere of visual identity and colossal live performances. A project conceptualized around a visual universe – The Republic of Kadebostany. It is the brainchild of DJ/producer/composer Guillaume de Kadebostany aka President Kadebostan. “Take Me to the Moon” is the first offering from the relentless innovator’s forthcoming “DRAMA—Act2” EP, a unique theatrical atmosphere slated to arrive later this year, and the sequel to the much acclaimed “DRAMA—Act1” released in 2020.

TEFFLER – SO HIGH

Since the onset of his venture into electronic music, TEFFLER has consistently deployed dance floor-ready releases that have seen support from the likes of Afrojack and his mainstay record label WALL Recordings.  Boasting vibrant, lush, tropical energy weft across a palatable pop-house infrastructure, his latest single “So High” raises listeners to a better place. A ray of sonic sunshine in uncertain times, the single is the epitome of easy listening – bright, buoyant, and quintessentially TEFFLER.  Complimenting his eclectic catalog of sounds that range from hard-hitting club bangers to melodic, future-pop anthems, the track is a welcome addition that further develops his signature sound.
