This Weekend: Stella Artois is hosting an Ornament Yourself! event at the Oculus at World Trade Center.
Hey NYC Locals! If you’re not knee-deep in holiday excitement yet, let Stella Artois launch you into a world of cheer entirely. This weekend only, the celebrated beer brand Stella Artois is inviting everyone to have a 3D ornament of themselves created in partnership with Doob, which has taken some super-special technology that creates refined and beautiful 3D-models based on comprehensive digital imagery- simply enter the doob’s camera-laden chamber and wait for your picture to be taken. The imagery is sent to Doob’s labs and the model is created in Brooklyn. We tried it out on Thursday, at which Stella Artois invited us to a VIP preview. Indeed, it was an adventure in style and high technology, and good beers, too. Of course, there will be plenty of Stella Artois on hand for your thirst-quenching needs. Those 21 and over are allowed to participate.
