Warner Bros. Pictures recently released the final trailer for the film, staring Charlie Hunnam who takes on the role of King Arthur. Some supporting appearances include Djimon Hounsou, the young King’s guide and Jude Law who plays Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle. The trailer offers a little preview of a young King Arthur’s life – from being raised in a brothel to having to acquire street smarts – and the mission he must complete to reclaim his father’s kingdom. It captures enough action to draw viewers in and leave them wanting more.
The clip features the most important part of the story – Arthur drawing the Excalibur from the stone. The preview also gives an inside look at the movie’s soundtrack and some of the special effects used to highlight the main points (and even some of the minor ones) in the story.
The film will be available in 3D and 2D in select theatres on May 12.
