On Monday, September 10Th TRESemmé hosted an exclusive NYFW insider event including a masterclass from global TRESemmé stylist Justine Marjan.
Amidst the excitement that was NYFW, TRESemmé held a masterclass and panel discussion at The Kitchen at Nomo Soho. During the event, guests were treated to a cocktail hour as well as a panel discussion between CEO and creative director of Cushnie, Carly Cushnie, Poet and author, Cleo Wade, and celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan. Blogger and social media influencer, Rocky Barnes, lead the empowering discussion between the women about some of their recent accomplishments, fashion, and hair.
Another added bonus to the exclusive event were TRESemmé stations set up to allow guests to play with new TRESemmé products such as the new Compressed Micro Mist.
The treat of the night was Justine Marjan’s masterclass on her NYFW SS19 looks. Guests were shown Marjan’s signature her runway look. The look was a fun ponytail slicked backed and accessorized with Marjan’s favorite ‘Kitsch’ bobby pins and elastics and set with TRESemmé’s Compressed Micro Mist. Marjan started with models hair slick, smooth and straight as a foundation for the low ponytail; then proceeded to show her technique for placing the bobby pins as the finishing touch.
During the panel discussion, Marjan shared with guests that she feels “It’s important to realize that everyone has their own fingerprints, even if someone tries to emulate exactly what you do.”
