The Weeknd has released a video for “The Hills” – a track that will be featured on his much anticipated forthcoming album which will be released this year under the partnership between XO and Republic Records.
The Weeknd’s current release “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)” recently achieved platinum status as certified by the RIAA and has spent 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. He will headline this year’s Lollapalooza music festival joining the likes of Paul McCartney, Metallica and Florence + the Machine and he recently capped off a closing set at Coachella 2015 to rave reviews. The Weeknd also recently picked up two Juno Awards from his home country of Canada.
