Quentin Tarantino’s murder mystery The Hateful Eight is now available for digital download.
The Oscar Winning film follows bounty hunter John Ruth, played by Kurt Russell, as he tries to bring back fugitive Daisy Dormergue played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. “The Hangman” as he’s known back in the town of Red Rock, gets side tracked by a winter storm and has to take refuge in a stage coach stopover on the side of a mountain called Minnie’s bringing along two strangers he met on the road.
When they arrive, accompanied by a fellow bounty hunter and union solider, played by Samuel L. Jackson, and a man claiming to be the new Sheriff in town, played by Walton Goggins, they encounter four more strangers. With everyone on their toes the unlikely group must confront the fact that they may not make it to Red Rock after all.
The film features several more actors including Channing Tatum, Zoë Bell, Demián Bichir, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen.
Like many Quentin Tarantino films, the blood and wit brought in many nominations for the film including a win and a nomination at the Oscars. You can now pick up a digital copy of the movie on all digital retailers. DVD copies of the film will be available on Mar. 27
