The Boys Vought-A-Burger Pop-Up was a Superfan’s Fast Food Fever Dream

The Boys are back in town. I’ll bet 90% of the journalists who attended this event started with that exact line.

Amazon Prime’s hit TV shows The Boys and Gen V hosted a pop-up last night featuring burgers, babes, and bodacious beats from two of the best DJs on the planet.

The event was hosted by Sony Television Pictures, and much to my surprise, a lot of the cast was there vibing amongst the normies. I’m desperate to know who made the food because those burgers were top-tier. Like, I have to know.

And drink up we did

Along with the sick ass food, there were of course themed cocktails, my favorite of which was Compound V. You see in the series Compound V turns regular people into superheroes, often with disastrous consequences. God this show is seriously so grotesque. I love it.

The bartenders were pouring them strong so me and my man got to dancing. It was truly such a lovely vibe in the sort of adult dance area.

A-train and Starlight were kicking it right next to me, I was starstruck. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

In the other room, which was decorated to look like a legit fast food place, there were free T-shirts and posters for fake movies from The Boys Universe. There was also a giant ball pit for kids, which surprised me because once again this show is wild as hell.

It was really fun to go back and forth between vibes, though, and I wish more parties had the energy of this one.

We wound the night down having one too many, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Mad I have to wait so long for the next season, but maybe I can find out who made those burgers in the meantime.
