On Thursday, we attended an exclusive event that celebrated the last weekend of The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky and designer Billy Reid. And with this celebration, Billy Reid unveiled their holiday windows across the nation with a special display at their Bond Street location. The collaboration showcases the specialty and uniqueness in the Billy Reid brand and is personified in their December holiday window display.
And with their partnership, The Balvenie has a prominent display in the store holiday window. The scene is set with mannequins wearing classic Billy Reid apparel paired with this classic scotch. And to make this display even more interactive, the Bond Street store has a Balvenie branded custom Morgan Roaster parked right outside for people to adore. Wrapped in a red bow and loaded with gifts, this car makes for the perfect picture opportunity for this holiday season.
And to top it all off, Balvenie hosted the party and let guests try their classic cocktail called the Balvenie Spiced Mule, created by brand ambassador Naomi Leslie, which you can check out the recipe below. It is dangerously delicious so you should try your hand at making it. It’s a perfect cocktail to share with friends and family as they cozy up with you during the approaching holiday season
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 parts Balvenie Caribbean Cask
½ part Madeira
1/4 part Tempus Fugit Crème de Cacao
1/4 part Fresh Lemon Juice
Small sprinkle (Approx. 1/8 tsp) of Smoked Paprika
1 ½ parts Prosecco
METHOD
Add all ingredients (except Prosecco) to shaker with ice.
Shake briefly and strain into a Champagne Flute or Coupe.
Top with 1 ½ parts Prosecco. Add lemon twist.
