Peter Reginato’s abstract forms employ a variety of textures and colors, grouping together painted (and sometimes perforated or folded) metal shapes in a collage-like fashion. The shapes are sometimes layered but are often connected using thin steel pipes the artist calls “wires,” allowing individual elements to seemingly move about in space. We attended a great holiday event that allowed us to really look at the intricacies of his work. Along with steel pipes, or wires, Reginato had a number of different paintings which featured spectacular colors, designs, shapes, and other things. His art in all of its grandeur is captivating to look at and observe.
The party itself was very grand, festive, and lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, eating, drinking, and having a great time. The colors popped out in such amazing ways. Each painting evoked a different emotion. Some emotions being sad, others being happy. Some guests were sharing their impressions and interpretations of the pieces.
The evening also celebrated the launch of the Reginato x DZZone NYC handbag collection. Combining Reginato’s exploration of new abstractions and Daniela’s artistic eye and innovative aesthetics, Reginato x DZZone NYC brings to life a series of handbags that transform the mainstream idea of carried accessories. Thanks to P. Reginato and DZZone Producer D. Zahradnikova for the invite.

Thanks David and Im glad you were able to attend ….Peter
What an outstanding review by David Fischer, who wrote as energetically and enthusiastically as the art he describes. There is merit in this young writer.
