9. Alfonso Cuarón 

Alfonso Cuarón doesn’t get the praise he definitely deserves. Few directors can claim the level of versatility and mastery that Alfonso has. He recently won the academy award for best director for the film Gravity, as well as directed such critically acclaimed films as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Y Tu Mamá también. If those films don’t speak to the breadth of diversity of his work, I don’t know what will. The chance to see this talented filmmaker talk will be something we’ll remember for a while.
