Chateau Minuty Celebrates the Summer with a Rosé Rooftop Happy Hour
Rosé season is back and better than ever!
Rosé Day officially kicked off Summer in LA last weekend when everyone was finally able to enjoy some fun in the sun! Guests enjoyed an assortment of wine, Rosé, Frosé, champagne, craft cocktails as well as a first time non-alcoholic zone, featuring wellness brands and pampering!

I ponied up to the bar as soon as I arrived, ready to try both the signature cocktail and the frozé, each served in Godinger National Rosé Day glasses.
Both were as crisp as the sky was blue; lovely, light yet piquant notes matched the picturesque yet gaudy environs.

CEOs Ann and Bodvár Hafstrom raised a toast to their elegant dinner guests, thanking us for coming and wishing us well.
Lunch was divine, a summery blend of watermelon salads, ostentatious fruit flights and perfectly cooked meats. It felt like being on a film set, except we were allowed to eat the food. Thank heavens.
DJ SUNNFORS took us toward dusk with some of finest mixes I’ve heard outside of a techno club. They delivered a sensational mix of alternative r&b, post-punk and house, a winning combination if there ever was one.

We danced the night away, I had more charcuterie, and we all left with a limited edition Bodvár Basket Beach Bag, featuring items from partners like Alice and Olivia.
Let’s do it again this weekend?
Hooray for Rosé: McConnell’s x Avaline’s Limited Edition Flavor Collab + Review
McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams of Santa Barbara, California, is back again with another innovative flavor combination, Avaline Rosé and Boysenberry Milk Jam. This time, the boutique ice cream brand has partnered with Avaline, a luxury clean wine brand, to bring your favorite frozen treat to you – but with a rosé twist.
Who doesn’t love rosé? Some say it’s an acquired taste. McConnell’s is known for making its own flavors from scratch, using only the finest local, sustainable, and organic ingredients. It’s no wonder that they would choose to create a daring flavor balance such as this.
Avaline Rosé is a clean, vegan-friendly wine by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, offering a light, fresh mouthfeel with flavors of melon and zest to bring the wine’s signature light pink hues to life. This fruit-forward French wine is crafted with organic grapes and is free of unnecessary inclusions like sugars, colors, and concentrates.
Michael Palmer, CEO of McConnell’s, had this to say about the latest flavor collab,
“At McConnell’s, we have always embraced an ethos of sustainability, transparency, and using only the finest whole ingredients in our ice creams, so we are thrilled to collaborate with Avaline, a company that embodies these same values. Made with Avaline’s clean, natural rosé blended into a delicious preserve, our newest velvety, decadent flavor, Avaline Rosé and Boysenberry Milk Jam, is one of our best yet.”
Sounds yummy! Lucky for me, we were invited to have a first look at this delectable, one-of-a-kind ice cream. I was thrilled to have the chance to do my own little taste test. Here are my thoughts on this exclusive flavor:
“The blend of the tart, sweet, and creamy created a divine flavor trio that makes this pint a truly refreshing, must-try summertime treat.”
As of May 6, 2022, this exclusive ice cream flavor collaboration is available for purchase online by the pint (nationwide shipping) and also at any McConnell’s scoop shops along the West Coast (Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo). Keep in mind, this is a limited edition collaboration, and this delightful flavor is expected to sell out quickly – so if you want to experience the undeniable deliciousness, act fast! Pints are available for $12 online and $11.50 in scoop shops.
A chic happy hour to celebrate some of the best wine around
This weekend, BABE Wine brought together TWO of the world’s greatest things with its first Dog + Wine Meet Up.
Rosé all day and all night: that was the motto last night at the penthouse of the Standard Hotel in the East Village. To celebrate the upcoming warmer season, the Vodka label partnered up with social media sensation Betches and actress Busy Philipps to break the rules on rosé with a fresh twist and a little edge.
During Fashion Week, we attended a special collaboration on behalf of Moët & Chandon and Public School designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow to mark the designer’s 10th anniversary.
The event featured the new limited edition bottle collection: Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé x Public School and brought to together fashion connoisseurs and champagne enthusiasts alike. The exclusive fête took place at the Fulton Market venue after Public School’s fashion show earlier in the day in Chinatown, stars in attendance included singer Halsey, actress Teyana Taylor, Iman Shumpert, G Eazy, Diplo, Tinashe, Mack Wilds, D.R.A.M. among more.
The new bubbly coral-pink champagne was showcased throughout event space, as guests enjoyed live music and drinks at many of the venue’s open bars. Art installation centering variations of the new chic packaging were also a eye-catcher and served as Instagram worthy moments. The new collection includes three limited edition bottles, each with hidden designs only seen under a camera flash, and will retail for a luxurious $999 upon release. A single 750 ml bottle will also be available for $59.99.

The bottles much like the fashion brand encapsulated the enigmatic vibe of New York Fashion Week, pushing for a collaboration palette different from the ordinary. Closing the evening, Travis Scott took the stage to perform some of his top hits such as “Goosebumps”, an iconic ending to this season’s NYFW.

The limited edition set is available for purchase beginning October 1st at SherryLehmann.com..
