Château La Coste Unveils the Fusion of Wine and Art at Art Basel 2023 Miami Event
Art Basel Miami, a global celebration of art and culture, witnessed a unique convergence of creativity and craftsmanship on December 4th, as Château La Coste, a leading wine producer from Provence, hosted an exclusive celebration at Vintage Rooftop in Miami, Florida.
The event showcased the brand’s exceptional wines, including their latest creation, a zero-alcohol sparkling rosé named Nooh, while inviting attendees to immerse themselves in an artistic experience inspired by the Château’s renowned Art Trail.
Château La Coste is renowned not only for its picturesque vineyards but also for its commitment to producing organic and bio-dynamically certified wines. The evening allowed guests to savor a variety of wines, from the crisp and vibrant rosé—both still and sparkling—to the rich and complex red and white offerings. The highlight of the night, the Nooh sparkling rosé, showcased the Château’s innovation and dedication to crafting exceptional beverages.
Guided by a passion for the arts, Château La Coste transformed the event into a canvas of inspiration. Attendees, including members of the local wine trade, press, and art scene, were encouraged to explore their artistic side. Sofia Del Rivero from Miami’s Art Box guided participants in creating their own artworks, turning the evening into a celebration of both fine art and fine wine.
As a tribute to Miami Art Week and the theme of the night, attendees could contribute to a collaborative wine-themed mural. The mural not only captured the essence of the event, but also served as a collective expression of the intersection between art and the world of Château La Coste wines. This collaborative effort reflected the spirit of community and creativity that defines the brand.

The Château La Coste property is not only a vineyard but also an art lover’s paradise. Nestled within its expansive grounds are installations by world-renowned artists and Pritzker Prize-winning architects. The event showcased the synergy between art and wine, inviting guests to explore the Art Trail and appreciate the beauty of artistic expression against a backdrop of natural splendor.
Château La Coste goes beyond being a premier wine destination; it offers a complete luxurious experience. The property features a five-star “palace-rated” hotel and spa, providing guests with a haven of relaxation and indulgence. The range of restaurants, including those helmed by Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze and celebrity chef Francis Mallmann, further elevates the culinary experience, making Château La Coste a destination that appeals to all senses.

Art Basel Miami was ignited with bliss during an artful event hosted by TokenSociety.io.
“Art Basel is the leading global platform connecting collectors, galleries, and artists,” according to the official website’s about section. “Art Basel’s Initiatives strive to create unique artist-led experiences and strengthen local art scenes.”
If you ask around though anyone will tell you it pretty much feels like it’s LA and New York crowds coming together with the tropical backdrop that is Miami. A chance to mix and mingle, attend fabulous parties, discover emerging artists, and do so all in the name of art.
Of course, The Knockturnal was on the scene in paradise city where we got to stop by the Zadig & Voltaire + Cultured event. Taking place at Zadig & Voltaire’s Miami Design District location, the celebration honored the brand’s philanthropic partnership with the L.A. Dance Project. Andrew Warren, RHOSLC’s Brooks Marks, and Gaia Matisse (great-great granddaughter of late artist Henri Matisse) hosted the event.
Special guests in attendance included Montana Tucker, Devon Windsor, Austin Mahone, Blake Gray and Michelle Salas among several others. Sips were had courtesy of ultra-luxe tequila brand Cincoro Tequila and their Miami inspired cocktail menu.
While, it’s no surprise fashion has infiltrated the Art Basel scene, the film landscape has also made it’s way into the event/ basel party circuit with an exclusive pop-up put together by Universal Pictures and Stella Artois. The private rooftop party took place at the notorious Soho Beach Club Miami to celebrate the release of the upcoming film The 355.
DJ Amrit hands down understood the assignment and gave the crowd some latin music mixes to bop to. It’s Miami after all! Specialty cocktails were flowing (obvi) and the most delicious appetizers were passed around. Cannot confirm or deny but suspicion that night was they were from Cecconi’s downstairs. Do I need to say more? You already know the hors d’oeuvre‘s were automatically a hit. My personal favorite were the truffle honey whipped ricotta crostinis. *Insert gasping emoji.* That’s how good they were.
In attendance model Charlotte McKinney, influencer Charly Jordan, and dancer Montana Tucker amongst more lovely guests. No sightings of Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, or any of the stars of the film, but that’s okay because we can watch them on the big screen once the film hits theaters January 7th.
On The Scene: Art Basel Makes Triumphant Return to Miami Beach
“Take Your Broken Heart and Turn it Into Art”
I do not know about everyone else, however, I am just now recuperating from the beautiful craziness that is Art Basel. Now that I’ve come up for air let’s talk recaps.
For those that haven’t seen the events, celebs, and artists parading all over your social media feed, Art Basel 2021 took place this past weekend in Miami. Believe it or not, I met a group of ppl visiting who had absolutely no idea that Art Basel was even taking place. No shade to them or anyone reading this who didn’t know. Anyway, let’s move on. There were tons of exhibits, panels, and parties, highlighting and celebrating artists from all around the world. Yet the art wasn’t the only site to see. Just as impressive and may be as important as the art its self were the venues. I’m taking some of the most sort-out & exclusive venues. Add sexy & luxurious to the description and you’ve got The Ritz Carlton South Beach!

The VIP launch event featured a wide array of celebrities, cultural tastemakers, and influencers including Vic Mensa, Ray J, Dreamdoll, Dez Bryant, Romeo Okwara, Tafia, and more. Roc Nation superstar Dixson wowed guests with an incredibly electrifying performance. Maeta followed with an equally beautiful soulful set that captivated the crowd. D’USSE was on deck as the official drink sponsor. They provided party-goers with specialty cocktails throughout the entire night. Also guests, including myself, got to experience complimentary manicures from the Bernadette Thompson Collection.
Lastly, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the inaugural issue featuring cover superstar, the incomparable and beautiful Issa Rae.
