NBC has released images of the costumes in their upcoming holiday special of The Wiz.
The new costumes include a school girl plaid skirt for Dorothy, mismatched socks for the Scarecrow and a metallic silver denim ensemble for the Tinman. Shanice Williams will be playing Dorothy alongside Elijah Kelly as Scarecrow, Ne-yo as the Tinman, and David Allan Grier as the The Cowardly Lion. The Wiz Live! with airing on NBC on Dec 3.

Back in August, Williams discussed which number she is looking forward to. “Okay so obviously I love all the songs in the play, but I would have to say ‘Home’ because it’s the final song and it’s so iconic so I guess I have to say I’m most excited to sing that one at the end.”
