Ruffino Hosts Prosecco & Petals at The Popup Florist

Ruffino Wines hosted it’s Prosecco & Petals event at Lower East Side’s The Popup Florist on April 26th.

The day could not have been more perfect- it was a warm 70 degrees when the event started at 7 PM. Guests were greeted by an array of Prosecco bottles nestled among luscious bouquets in hues of baby pink and tangerine as they entered the Popup.

Once inside, waiters offered floral-inspired cocktails like Dolce Camomilla and Sole Spritz made with the Ruffino Sparkling Prosecco Wine. The cocktails paired perfectly with decadent desserts like Cardamom & Rose Petal Donuts, Candied Pansy Pavlovas, and Pressed Floral Cookies.

Although it was a pretty tight layout, each detail of the small space taken into account to reflect the night’s event. One wall held up flower plaques spelling out “Ruffino X Popup Florist”, while the wall across from it held a glowing sign that stated, “Always Sparkling.” The wall toward the entrance held floral stems in small vases next to adorable petite bottles of the Ruffino Prosecco. One of my favorite parts of the night were the DIY floral coasters. In the middle of Popup space laid a table with delicate flowers and stems that guests used to make their own coasters.

Former fashion designer, Kelsie Hayes, founded the floral design company back in 2016. Since then, she’s been the fashion industry’s go-to florist to design special events and retail collaborations. She’s worked with some of the coolest brands like Bobbi Brown, The Arrivals, Covergirl, Ouai Haircare, and Amazon. The Popup also delivers bouquets through Postmates- everything from “Pick of the Bunch” assortments in a paper bag or a Lavender Bunch.
