In celebration of BVLGARI’s partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival, the brand debuted two original short films about empowering modern Italian women who are disrupting the status quo. Created in partnership with Tribeca Studios and directed by female filmmakers Nina Meredith and Bella Monticelli, The Litas and Conducting a Revolution profile extraordinary women who go against the grain in pursuit of professions and passions traditionally held by men.

On Monday, April 23rd, CHANEL hosted the 13th annual celebration for the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival Artists Program at Balthazar in New York City. Notable guests included: Robert De Niro & Grace Hightower, Jane Rosenthal, Bel Powley, Ella Purnell, Katie Holmes, Keegan Michael Key, Laia Costa, Lenny Kravitz, David O. The evening honored the artists who have contributed original artwork to the award-winning filmmakers. This year’s contributing artists included: Jeff Koons, Ghada Amer, Meghan Boody, Nancy Dwyer, Reza Farkhondeh, Eddie Kang, Stephen Hannock, David Levinthal, Joan Snyder, Tom Sachs, John F. Simon Jr. and Julia Wachtel.
WanderLuxxe, the coveted concierge service focused in the film and entertainment space founded by Marti Hines and Lola Wood, returned for its second year as a hot locale during the film festival in Tribeca at the Smyth Hotel. Ray Liotta, Bethany Hamilton, Lola Kirke, Jemima Kirke, Jay Ellis, Lakeith Stanfield, Dorian Missick, Emma Forrest and more have all engaged in the WanderLuxxe lounge services. From Quick Cryo oxygen therapy to Peet’s Coffee bar to escorted luxury car rides. The WanderLuxxe Lounge took place from April 20th – 25th at the Smyth Hotel, and offered Peet’s Coffee and a Quick Cryo oxygen bar among other luxury services,
for festival goers and WanderLuxxe members.
Bethany Hamilton was in town for the film festival and promoting her movie “Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable.” She is photographed with her husband, Adam Dirks. Actor Lakeith Stanfield (a Tribeca juror) also stopped by the WanderLuxxe lounge on Sunday, April 22nd and Ray Liotta (a Tribeca juror) on Monday, April 23rd for a Quick Cryo oxygen facial. Additional guests who came by included Dorian Missick, Lola Kirke, Jemima Kirke, and Emma Forrest.
Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1 celebrated its world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival with a special screening at Beacon Theatre in New York City. With performances by Fat Joe, Kid Ink and Gizzle the audience not only enjoyed a screening of the film but also a full concert to celebrate Michael Jordan and the story of AJ1. After the screening of the film, Gizzle came out to start the performances by singing the film’s credit song “Unstoppable.” Kid Ink then joined her on stage and sang audience favorites including “Show Me,” and “Main Chick” before bringing out Fat Joe who opened his set with Tony Sunshine performing “What’s Luv,“ “Lean Back,” “All The Way Up” and more. Fat Joe brought Kid Ink back onstage to close the performances with Kid Ink’s original track for the film titled “One Time.” An after party followed immediately after at Tao Uptown and was presented by Bai.
