Rounding out a series of ultra-exclusive brunches in the Hamptons, Rand Luxury closed out the season with a bang, pulling out all the stops to make this fourth and final brunch the best yet, this time sponsored by a variety including Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island.
Location? Couldn’t be better: Rand teamed up with Corcoran agent and Hamptons extraordinaire Gary DePersia to host the brunch at a perfectly executed estate on a prestigious South-of-the-highway lane. Not far from Sagaponack pond, the eight-bedroom home designed in a sensitive Hamptons manner is stunningly accommodating and family friendly, despite its 8,600 square foot footprint (on two acres, no less!). The home features a dramatic staircase with cascading window, multiple terraces and balconies, a flexible master wing, a perfectly achieved kitchen, and of course a backyard outfit with a pool, a pool house, and tennis court. Perfectly secure and designed for entertaining, the house is available for $18,495,000. The floorpan is at once meandering and immediately present. Occasional staff will have no problems in the large kitchen with two refrigerators couple with quick access to the basement. The lack of butler’s pantry contributes to this sense of openness and communication, despite the houses classic proportions and style.
After touring the house, we learned the event’s official media sponsor is Beach magazine, a division of Modern Luxury.
Notable attendees at the brunch included Bradford Rand, Gary DePersia, Margo Manhattan, Jean Shafiroff, Andrew Flach, Julie Hayek, Nicole Noonan, Steven Knobel, Jenny Welton, Natalie, Charlotte Caldwell, and more. Everyone was in the mood to enjoy the perfect weather and test drive the latest Ferrari-Maserati models throughout the course of the event, including the 2016 Ferrari California.
Along the pool and dotted in the yard, a luxury showcase featuring LG Electronics, Jet Aviation, Chateau Saint-Maur, D’Angelico New York, Drettmann Yachts, Govberg Jewelers/WatchuWant, Antigua and Barbuda, HeliNY Helicopter Flight Service Inc., Honest Tea, Natuzzi Italia Harmony Maker, Palm Bay International, Saratoga Spring Water, Telluride, Turks & Caicos Islands all caught the eye of several guests. At the event, guests were also able to participate in a silent auction, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Patient Airlift Services. The items were varied as the people who donated them, from tickets to rare signed t-shirts to all-expenses-paid holidays.
