The Knockturnal was invited to the opening of The New Ziba Salon on 57 St.
Salon Ziba’s new location, only a few blocks away from the original location, is a luxurious update to the already posh existing locations. The 4,000 square feet location was designed by Peter Millard and encompasses 30 individual styling stations, a VIP room, and 2 separate VIP styling stations. The individual styling stations offer USB charging ports, which is great for women who can stay updated with work while getting their hair done. The stark white on white décor allows for stylists to judge color better and find the perfect match for their clients. Millard did a great job in incorporating texture into the interior by having Silver Leaf patterns on the back walls, giving it a luxurious feel. The salon partnered with L’Oreal for their color line and sells well known brands like Shu Uemura and Kerastase, along with ZIBA products. The opening had a great turnout. Salon Owner, Alonso Salguero was seen mingling with everyone, ensuring that he met with all the guests. Guests included Kelly Bensimon (Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York), Alicia Quarles (E! News), Rain Dove (model), Dr. Tabasum Mir (Bravo’s The Singles Project), Delaina Dixon (VH1 Gossip Table), Actress Carey Reilly, Jenelle Evans (MTV’s Teen Mom), and Kailyn Lowry (MTV’s Teen Mom), among many others.
