Harman and Quincy Jones proudly unveiled their latest project to a group of music enthusiasts and writers from across the globe in New York City on Friday afternoon.Β
Quincy Jones has once again teamed up with HarmanΒ to bring us another set of extraordinary headphones, the Harman AKG N90Q, whichΒ looks to revolutionize the industry. What makes these headphones so special is that they are the first to use a frequency spectrum to calculate the best possible listening experience for your particular ears. They are the first set of truly personalized headphones.
This groundbreaking productΒ offers just about everything you want in a pair of headphones and then some. It is constructed out of an aluminum body with sheep leather detailing, which gives it a very premium feel. It sports dual density memory foam which adds a layer of comfort as well as improving sound isolation. Not only does it have a dial for volume on the right headphone, but also a dial to adjust toneΒ on the left headphone. It offers best-in-class distortion control and noise canceling. With a built-in DAC, you get full HD and lossless audio playback. Even the case is functional. It works as the charger and comes with a travel pouch, one cable with a three-button remote and one without, a flight adapter, and a spare battery pack.
With this said, they sound truly amazing. In introducing the product, the CEO of Harman Dinesh PaliwalΒ accurately told audience βDonβt try it. If you try it, you cannot go back to anythingβ. Well, he was right.

Quincy Jones attended the event to unveil, with great pride, his latest project. They were ecstatic to show off the product, with people at every corner ready to give you a demo. He told guests:
Itβs just a brilliant privilege to get to market now and take this thing home and I know itβs going home and I can tell that everybody believes in it and I hope you do too because it’s the best sound out there and thatβs something I bet with my life I canβt even drive a car, but I know that sound and we got it. We have it in these ear phones, and again itβs a left and right brain kind of an experience. Music is a strange animal. You canβt see it, you canβt touch it, you canβt taste, canβt smell it, but man, you can feel it. Water and music will be the last thing on this planet, trust me, you canβt live without it.
The launch party took place at Harman’s Madison Avenue store. Light fare and cocktails were served and world famous pianist Alfredo Rodriguez treated guests to stunning performance.
