The Ron Ramos open showroom boasts ruffles, gingham, and modest necklines for Spring 2020.
On Saturday, September 7th, Ron Ramos provided a wide variety of women’s wear. Upon entrance, sultry models with their hair pulled back in similar styles of sleek braided buns to accentuate and draw attention to the common theme of modest necklines.
Ramos provided sleek suit jackets and casual wear in patterned gingham. Two daring – but elegant – pieces in shades of pink drew the attention of most in the showroom. The dresses were the perfect combination of modern and fun, baring skin but in a subtle, rather than scandalous manner.
The remaining dresses had all the versatility of being the perfect picnic attire, night out, or happy hour outfit. The models were poised and elegant in the collection, but it seemed clear that Ramos’ spring collection would be flattering on a variety of body types.
The entire line was flirty and fun, but still completely wearable for the average modern woman. The silhouette of each model was balanced with ruffles at the bottom of all the pieces, paired with lower slung block heels to ease the formality of the pieces.
What was most impressive about the line was Ramos’ ability to create a sense of cohesiveness throughout the line. The variety of clothes could be easily worn to work, brunch, and formal events, but certainly could not be confused for anything except the work of Ron Ramos.
