The Oxford Fashion show at Chelsea Piers featured a wide variety of styles, suitable for spring.
The show kicked off with a young Australian designer – Eitan Broude. His designs echoed several of the upcoming trends for spring, including ruffles and creating flouncy, hourglass silhouettes on the models walking the runway. The colors in his line were ephemeral and cloud-like, sprinkled with white and baby blue, in billowy satin material.
Korean designer, Eunjae Kim presented, “Born”, a line comprised of earthy and neutral tones and asymmetrical cuts. Unlike several of the following lines, the designs were far from form fitting, but seemed highly versatile. Models walked the runway in straw shoes rather than heels to emphasize the casual-chic tone of the line.
Perhaps one of the real-showstoppers of the event was “Haan Haan”, a line that was elegant, fierce, and ultimately stunning, with models walking in shades of gold, royal blue, and greens with golden undertones. Workwear never seemed so regal, and going from day to night never seemed so seamless.
