The Knockturnal was on the scene for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s charity event, The 17th annual Hamptons Happening.
Held in large tents at Maria and Kenneth Fishel’s luxurious estate in Bridgehampton, more than 300 people were in attendance for the biggest charity event of the summer.
The food, music, and drinks kept the crowd going, with delicious tastings provided by over a dozen restaurants and chefs including Magnolia Bakery, Golden Pear, Union Sushi & Steak, and much, much more.
More than $400,000 was raised for cancer research from ticket sales and an auction that saw bidders getting a Hugo Boss shopping spree and a cooking lesson from renowned chef David Burke.
Guests were entertained by a high-energy performance by Broadway’s Freestyle Love Supreme with emcee Chris Wragge, CBS 2 Morning News anchor, kicking off the night with introductions and Dr. Samuel Waxman giving a speech and thanking the crowd for attending.
Notable guests came out for the good cause, including NFL legend Harry Carson, Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer, Chef David Bourke and philanthropist and author Jean Shafiroff.
This year’s honorees included HUGO BOSS, Fashion Inc; Dr. Kenneth Mark, Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Dermatology Expert; Natalie Cohen Gould, Co-founder of Come Back Cycle, Dir. Of Wholesale, FP Movement; and Chef and Restaurateur David Burke, David Burke Hospitality Management.
Until next year!
