Neon Carnival celebrated its ten-year anniversary this past Saturday, April 13th in Thermal, CA.
The annual festival after-party was bigger than ever, the size of 3 football fields to be exact, and expanded throughout the grassy lands of Hits Desert Park equestrian center. The immersive experience, founded by Brent Bolthouse, was a collaborative effort of different partnerships and featured carnival games and amusement park thrills while DJs kept the crowd hyped.
Levi’s Brand headlined the event for its fifth consecutive year and offered a fun photo booth to capture memories and gave away snapbacks and tee-shirt as merchandise for game winners. Australian beauty brand Bondi Sands showcased their arrival into the U.S. market as neon lights gleamed from a bumper car installation and fun- sized stuffed animal kangaroos were gifted to winners of a balloon game. To highlight the upcoming film POKEMON Detective Pikachu, a colorful Detective Pikachu themed Ferris Wheel illuminated the midnight sky with giant Pokémon’s in formation on the grass providing a unique photo op. LG featured a Mobile Experience focusing on its newest smartphones uniquely featuring an ASMR Sound Studio, PentaShot Photo Platform and a Dual Display Gaming Zone.
HEIMAT Los Angeles hosted an integrated VIP lounge experience where celebs like Wiz Khalifa, Karrueche Tran and Janelle Monae were seen laughing and lounging. Leonardo DiCaprio was incognito the whole night wearing hat, glasses and hoody, while Paris Hilton didn’t miss a beat while she danced with Alessandra Ambrosio on stage. Meek Mill, Young Thug and 2Chainz chatted amongst each other at their table. The dance floor was packed as DJ Ruckus, ZEDD, A-Trak kept the crowd dancing as they alternated spinning tracks until the wee hours of the morning. Cocktails by Smirnoff, Don Julio and Golden Road Brewery kept pouring all night, and carnivalgoers left the venue hydrated with Penta Water.
This highly anticipated exclusive star-studded event truly highlighted the decade celebration of Neon Carnival. You could say, it was the best one yet.
