Biscayne Bay was lit up with the light from the XCO2 Launch Party and The Knockturnal was on the scene.

Carbon Market Exchange hosted an exclusive party near South Beach, FL, and guests from all around the world flooded the shore for Miami’s 2022 Bitcoin conference.

The smell of artisan pizza and woodfire ovens filled the air with nostalgia. The night was filled  with dancing, speeches, and an open bar – complimented by the newest photo machine. Photobooths are so 2021 – that camera spun around you and your squad creating the most epic videos – all while Carbon Market Exchange advocated for the benefits their Tokens have on the environment.

Now to the dirty. My favorite pizza was the mushroom and prosciutto. Every slice had the perfect balance of crispiness, saltiness, and truffle from mushroom to mozzarella – honestly, I’m making my own mouth water thinking about it. I also enjoyed a flavorful margarita and this extremely unique rum and tequila punch that may be my new go-to cocktail of choice.

Everyone at the event was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and insightful. Something I appreciated about this event was the overall diversity but common interest in saving the planet and crypto. Attendees were from all around the world. We were of different ages, genders, sexualities, and career paths.

Upon entering the party, I was greeted by Umar Bryce, COO of Carbon Market Exchange. He immediately welcomed my friends and me and made us feel at home. We discussed his company, and its mission and even he introduced us to Shenna Fortner, CEO of Carbon Market Exchange. Fortner turned heads in a stunning gold dress and welcomed all guests like family.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Kenneth Bristow, the director of sales at Privé Jets who also has 10+ years of working in finance. Kenneth was extremely insightful about finance and flying private to get the full Bitcoin week exclusive experience. Lastly, I had the pleasure to meet Bijan (LegacyHouseProduction@gmail.com) the person who made the party possible between his vibrant lighting, venue rental, and other event planning expertise.

I am beyond excited about Carbon Market Exchange and its future endeavors. Next on the agenda is $1.5mm planned for African Safari preservation, the release of geographic location tied NFTs for Carbon offsetting, and to purchase 1.5b in Carbon credits. WHAT ARE CARBON CREDITS?

The carbon offset market is growing rapidly as more and more companies pledge to become net-zero. Carbon offsets allow everyone in the world, from corporations to individuals, to buy time while they transition their operations, by purchasing carbon credits. Each of these credits represents a ton of carbon that has been either directly removed from the atmosphere or avoided through a project that facilitates emissions reductions.

WHAT ARE XCO2 TOKENS?

XCO2 tokens are a blockchain technology that allows those looking for an easy method to offset their carbon footprint with cryptographic proof in a publicly auditable ledger for accountability and transparency. The price of XCO2 tokens will fluctuate with the current market price of 1 metric tonne of carbon credits. We have assigned 10 XCO2 tokens to represent 1 tonne of carbon offset. The total XCO2 token supply is tied to the amount of carbon credits that are actively held by Carbon Credit Exchange LTD at any given time. To claim the credit and have your wallet address tied to a carbon credit certificate, the XCO2 tokens must be retired. This will pull the tokens out of the total supply and assign the amount of credit to a user’s wallet address.
