Nick Graham showed his SS16 collection on Tuesday, July 14.
For a total of 20 looks, Graham was inspired by 20 different cities from all over the world, including New York, London, Shanghai, and New Delhi. The collection was titled Everywhere but significantly called out both New York and London. Graham partnered with Lanier Clothes in a licensing agreement to produce the SS16 Tailored Clothing Collection, perfectly timed to launch during the first ever New York Men’s Fashion Week. The collection aimed to appeal to everyone, everywhere, bringing attention to the fact that everyone is so easily connected worldwide and collections are influencing more people than just where they are shown.
It was a marriage between superb English tailoring with fun American styling elements such as mixing prints. The suits were shown in many varieties. Some were styled with colorful printed shirts and seersucker blazers with white pants while others were shown in classic navy pants and blazer combos. Las Vegas was shown wearing a black suit with silver flowers and a polka dot bow tie, paying homage to the glitzy city in a very classy manner. London was shown wearing a smart grey tweed suit with a black a grey motif tie, reminiscent of The Kinsgman. While New York was shown in a classy navy suit, adding fun elements through a navy polka dot tie and a paisley print handkerchief. Over all the collection was very well put together and gave a lot of options that were both classy and at the same time fun and interesting.
