WHOMADEWHO x TRIPOLISM – FLYING AWAY WITH YOU [CERCLE RECORDS]
Danish powerhouses WhoMadeWho and rising outfit Tripolism dropped a summery slice of heaven last week on Cercle Records with “Flying Away With You“—a track that bottles pure sunshine just as the season shifts and days stretch longer. The collaboration marries WhoMadeWho’s genre-blurring electronic-indie magic with Tripolism’s textured, groove-led production for something effortlessly catchy yet deceptively sophisticated. “For us this one feels like the ultimate summer track—where both the waves and the clouds are blue, and all worries just disappear,” Tripolism explains, while WhoMadeWho marvels at the unlikely success of cramming five vocalists into one cohesive banger: “What began as a simple request for ‘a bit of production’ quickly evolved into a full-on, intense collaboration.” The timing couldn’t be better, arriving a few days after Tripolism joined WhoMadeWho onstage during their Cercle Odyssey Mexico performance to perform a live rendition of the track. WhoMadeWho continues their collaborative hot streak, while Tripolism rides momentum from their Beatport #1 remix of “Lola’s Theme” and upcoming Coachella debut, making this partnership between Danish legends and newcomers feel like a perfect torch-passing moment.
HELANG – HITS DIFFERENT [HILOMATIK]
Chinese-American techno producer HELANG delivers a sonic punch with “Hits Different,” landing on Oliver Heldens‘ techno sub-label HILOMATIK just in time for AAPI Heritage Month. The track showcases her signature blend of deep, driving rhythms and atmospheric textures that have earned her support from scene heavyweights like Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, and Joseph Capriati. “I feel like I always am, but especially lately, living life through a lens of discovery, adventure, and seduction,” HELANG shares about her creative process. “When I sit down and write music, I am the most inspired by how I feel connected to the art of mystery.” Following her acclaimed ‘Flashback’ EP on HE.SHE.THEY. Records, this release marks another milestone in HELANG’s rising trajectory, which has recently included standout sets at E1, Teksupport NYE, and Echostage DC alongside titans like Amelie Lens and Eric Prydz. Beyond her productions, HELANG continues to create space for others through her Dauntless Records imprint and its female-only Brooklyn showcase events, embodying the integrity and fearless spirit that have become hallmarks of her artistic identity as she carves her unique path through techno’s historically male-dominated landscape.
JULES LIESL – CHERRY (JAMES HURR & KARSTEN SOLLORS REMIX) [HALOGEN]
Rising dance-pop force Jules Liesl gets the heavyweight club treatment on her debut single “CHERRY,” with scene veterans James Hurr and Karsten Sollors transforming the track into a peak-time weapon. The remix leans into progressive, tribal house rhythms with tight percussion, clean low end, and cleverly reworked vocal phrasing that gives the original a completely fresh dancefloor identity. The track’s already making serious waves, with Jules tearing up stages at Miami Pride, Winter Party, and a packed release event at The Abbey in West Hollywood. Hurr (who’s worked with Tiësto and Armin van Buuren) and Sollors (a fixture in the worldwide Circuit scene with releases on Farris Wheel and Toolroom) bring serious production muscle to the collaboration, crafting something built specifically for DJ sets. With backing from Halogen Entertainment powerhouses Phoenix Stone and Sybil Hall—who’ve previously developed multi-platinum artists like The Backstreet Boys—and choreography from Lady Gaga collaborator Richard Jackson, Jules is positioning herself as more than just another artist but a full-on movement, bringing what Flaunt Magazine calls “The Fun New Voice of Gay Dance Pop” to both sides of the Atlantic.
FOX STEVENSON – MEMORIES [PILOT]
British genre-blender Fox Stevenson delivers another knockout with “Memories,” the fourth single from his self-produced sophomore album dropping this summer on UKF’s sister label. True to form, Fox crafts a perfect storm of high-octane drum & bass, infectious vocals, and emotional gut-punches that somehow feel both deeply personal and universally relatable. There’s a delicious pop-punk energy running through the track that bridges his rebellious roots with his electronic evolution, reflecting on fleeting connections with punchy synths and his unmistakable songwriting flair. The single arrives as Fox gears up for his May US tour, hitting spots like Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg and LA’s Troubadour, where fans will experience his DIY magic—each album track being written, sung, produced, and mastered entirely by Stevenson himself. No stranger to building worlds beyond the music, Fox is creating an entire ecosystem around the release with exclusive vinyl, interactive listening events, and content for his dedicated Twitch and Discord communities. When he hits the road with his three-piece live band featuring Pat Lundy (Modestep) and Bruce Charles (Bustre), expect an energy that Fox himself describes simply as “I love melodies, I love big drums, I love big bass, and I love singing over it”—a perfect summation of why he continues to capture hearts across the electronic landscape.
RIOT TEN x VERSA – THREATS [MONSTERCAT]
Bass bruiser Riot Ten teams up with riddim phenom Versa on “Threats,” a face-melting collaboration that delivers exactly what its title promises—sonic assault from all angles. The fourth single from Riot Ten’s upcoming album hits like a mechanical barrage of razor-sharp synths and bone-rattling basslines, engineered specifically to decimate rail-riding festival crowds. “I’ve been a fan of Versa for a long time,” shares the El Paso native, “After I sent the original idea over and he jumped in, I knew it was going to smash.” The collaboration came together organically, with Versa adding: “The track stemmed from the idea of making an ‘attack’ of sound.” Fresh off a 30+ city North American tour and his “Feral” EP on Monstercat, Riot Ten continues building momentum with this latest offering, adding to a catalog that includes his viral anthem “Rail Breaker” and numerous chart-topping releases. Meanwhile, Versa rides his own wave of underground buzz with upcoming appearances at Delirium Festival, Forbidden Kingdom, and Red Rocks. While details on Riot Ten’s full album remain under wraps, “Threats” makes one thing crystal clear—expect a genre-blurring, mosh-worthy collection that straddles both the underground and main stage with unfiltered intensity.
SLUSHII – OPERATION: OVERLOAD EP [CREATE MUSIC GROUP]
Bass music chameleon Slushii returns from a two-year EP hiatus with “Operation: Overload,” a sonic playground that gleefully tears down genre walls and rebuilds them in his own technicolor vision. The eight-track collection feels like both homecoming and evolution, showcasing the full spectrum of his production prowess while reclaiming his sound on his own terms. Standout single “Wanna Be The One” brings DJ Whookid and melodic rapper Seddy Hendrinx into the fold, while the hypnotic “Psychosis” featuring vocalist Sofia drags listeners into late-night club territories with pulsing intensity. Elsewhere, “Even Without You” delivers euphoric uplift, and “I Wish You The Best” channels emotional intensity through energized trance beats and celestial textures. The project manages to traverse dubstep, trap, house, lo-fi, and trance with equal conviction, reaffirming why Slushii has become a festival mainstay who refuses to be boxed in. Fresh off his viral Sapientdream track “Past Lives” (which caught The Chainsmokers’ attention for an official remix) and his Monstercat collaboration with HYO from Girls’ Generation, “Operation: Overload” marks just the beginning of what promises to be a transformative year for an artist whose creative universe extends far beyond music into anime, gaming, and digital art.
