It’s been over 10 years since Barbershop 2: Back to Business and we all are impatiently waiting to see what The Next Cut will bring. What we know for sure is that we can expect a lot of female energy coming to Calvin’s Barbershop – Regina Hall as Angie and highly anticipated performance by Nicki Minaj in the role of Draya, charismatic Chicagoan hairstylist. Wonder what results adding some drama and gossip to that male-dominated establishment will bring? For sure a bit of female sassiness won’t hurt the on-screen energy!
According to Warner Bros. aside from the changes going on in Calvin’s Barbershop we can expect things happening in Chicago’s South Side community and neighborhood to go… well, south. This will force Calvin and his crew to go for a rescue mission not only to save the shop, but also their neighborhood.
Surely, we can expect great performance from Ice Cube, Cedric The Entertainer and Sean Patrick Thomas. We will also see Eve come back in the role of Terri as well as cameos from new to the crew Common and Nicki Minaj.
