Balaboosta owner and head chef, Einat Admony, credits her Israeli and Middle Eastern heritage for the unique flavors that coat each of the small Mediterranean-Mexican plates that serve as transportation from Brooklyn, to a small beach shack where dancing is inevitable.
A labor of siblings Einat and brother, Elon’s love, Moondog’s opening party took place on January 15. Since then, the restaurant and lounge has championed culture and diversity, bringing several local and global DJs to curate reggae, soul, funk, jazz and electric sets weekly. A true melting pot, Moondog is serving up shawarmas in taco form, brisket hummus, yucca fries, empanadas and more!
