Megan Moroney got in tune with Raising Cane’s this past week for a blockbuster fan experience.

The “Am I Okay?” singing sensation was more than just peachy on Nov. 14 when hundreds of fans decked out in pink waited to meet her at the Athens, Georgia, location.

Along with fellow Georgia Bulldog and Raising Cane’s owner and founder, Todd Graves, Moroney greeted attendees who came to be a part of her first public stop after the highly anticipated announcement of “Cloud 9,” which is her third studio album that is set to release on Feb. 20, from Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records.

In a moment of reflection before taking the spotlight at the event, the country star summed up the tantalizing feeling of emotions the fan day meant and what her new album will project.

“I would say for me, empowering,” she said about the way she would describe the theme of “Cloud 9,” which is getting released in the new year. “I hope that the messages in these songs just help my fans and whoever listens get through life. I love music. Music helps me get through life. So, I hope that I can be that artist for some people who helps them get through.”

A wave of glittery pink pom-poms and bedazzled t-shirts filled the parking lot as Graves and Moroney took a stage to show their appreciation for the crowd coming out to share the “One Love” for the music and America’s favorite chicken fingers.

The day was elevated as the songwriter made a special shout-out to the crowd that ranged in age from toddlers to retirees.

“It’s amazing and humbling to be back here in Athens,” she unveiled with a bright smile. “Every time I’m here, I’m reminded that I used to be the sorority girl singing songs in the house without anyone to listen to them, and now I’m here at the same Cane’s my friends and I would come to, and am celebrating the upcoming release of my third album.”

Hearts were filled with bliss as she expressed eternal gratitude for the moment. More than just another singer stopping on a tour with the band, there was something magical about the way the day brought out joyful unity. Everyone in the audience seemed to understand that their hometown hero had come back to Main Street, USA, for a celebration that shared in the goodwill of success.

Graves – an entrepreneurial powerhouse with a heart of gold – understands the meaning of the day for Moroney and sang her high praises.

“Megan and I both went to Georgia, and this is where it all started for both of us,” he stated. “I had a dream to open a Chicken Finger Restaurant, and she had a dream to be a musician, and we’re living our dreams. It’s great coming back to this place and partnering with Megan for the announcement of Cloud 9. Megan is an incredible artist, and she just wants to be here celebrating with her fans, so when she told me about her idea for a ‘pop up’ I loved it,” said Graves. “She’s nominated for six CMA Awards, and I’m going to be there in the front row, cheering her on. We’re friends, and my family and I are big fans of her music, and she’s loved Cane’s for years, so this partnership is perfect. Her album actually comes out on my birthday!”

Raising Cane’s has for years marched to the beat of thriving musicians like Moroney for good reason. Graves and his team members around the country see in them the same tenacious type of spirit. To succeed in music is like finding your path in the restaurant business. Those who sizzle and sing with pride are the ones who keep the fans coming back for more of that magic in the spotlight.

Teaming up with music’s biggest stars ahead of major cultural moments is part of what makes the Raising Cane’s special sauce a delectable dip for the masses. Over the past few years, the Restaurant Brand has teamed up with stars including Luke Bryan, Koe Wetzel, Bailey Zimmerman, and Parker McCollum for surprise Restaurant “shifts,” fan pop-ups, and special events that celebrate their chart-topping success.

Each collaboration brings Raising Cane’s signature fan energy and fun to create unforgettable experiences that connect music lovers and chicken connoisseurs. The vibe was beating strong the rest of the day as Moroney went on to work her “shift” at the Athens restaurant. Dressed in pink in honor of her new album aesthetic, Moroney clocked in at the very same restaurant she frequented as a college student and worked the drive-thru and front counter.

For hours, she signed autographs and swag, including album covers and guitars; took selfies with fans; and even pumped Cane’s Sauce and made Chicken Fingers and Cane’s toast under the guidance of Graves himself.

It was all music to the ears of the fans who came out for a day of delicious, rosy-colored delights.
