Macy’s joined forces with Haddad to host an iconic back-to-school celebration called Rookie Kids Runway on Broadway Fashion Show.
The show was hosted by superstar Ciara and drew an A-list crowd, with celebrity attendees including Russell Wilson, Josh Hart, Adrienne Bailon, Lil Kim, Ice T, Busta Rhymes, Dascha Polanco, and more, turning Herald Square into the ultimate style playground. The catwalk featured the most fashionable kids, including notable Kidfluencers and celebrity kids rocking the latest trends and must-have fits for the school year.
The Rookie in the City show was held in partnership with Russell Wilson and Ciara’s Why Not You Foundation, which empowers youth through education, health, and mentorship. The show also celebrated confidence, opportunity, and the power of a “why not you” attitude, inspiring the next generation to lead with their best foot forward. The show also served to celebrate the launch of the Wilson’s clothing brand 3Brand at Macy’s Herald Square store.

The Knocturnal spoke to Jersey Shore‘s Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley about what is one essential thing that her children’s style should reflect. Farley simply said, “Confidence”. “You can look like a million dollars if you’re wearing it with confidence”. “In our house, it doesn’t matter the style, it doesn’t matter the brand as long as you’re wearing it with confidence”, Farley added. Grammy-winning rap superstar Lil Kim, who arrived with her daughter Royal Jones (who walked in the show), shared that their favorite brand is Jordans and that lip gloss is a must-have fashion accessory.

Some top brands, such as Abercrombie Kids, 3Brand, Levi’s, Converse, Lacoste, Hurley, Jordan, and Nike, were featured throughout the show against the backdrop of Macy’s Herald Square Plaza on Broadway. As the youth modeled the brands, there were also performances by Knicks City Kids and Trillian, while the show captured the excitement of fall fashion and the joy of heading back to school in style.
