The first annual SKAM Summer Music Summit took over the Dream Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles for two days of music, tech, and a whole lot of fun.
The summit creator and CEO of S.K.A.M Artist, Sujit Kundu created an event that included over 500 DJs, top radio programmers and top execs. The two-day celebration also coincided with Kundu’s annual birthday blowout which is an often highly anticipated event. The jam-packed line up included Angie Vee, Baby Yu, Beat Breaker, Christo, Crooked, DJ Five, Deux Twins, Eric Delux, Ever, Four Color Zack, Gene Hov, Jerzy, Justin Credible, Kim Lee, LezLee, NYSE, Nick Ferrer, Nick Rockwell, Precise, Richard Vission, Sinatra, Triple XL and VTech.
On Sunday, August 22 Grammy award winner, Lil Jon alongside Eric Dlux, DJ Five, Nick Ferrer kicked off the first annual SKAM Summer Music Summit with a poolside party at the popular Highlight Room located in Dream Hollywood. The day was filled with 24hr livestreams, a brunch, a mixing masterclass, live music and ended with a after dark party. Attendees filled the rooftop venue as they enjoyed Travis Scott’s CACTI beverage and took in the 360-degree views of a bustling Los Angeles. Sponsors included Red Bull, Herradura, Jack Daniels, La Weekly, Indoggo, Jardin, Events by DAB, and Ward 1 Design. It was most definitely a ladies night as Angie Vee, Deux Twins, Lezlee and Vtech repped for the lady DJs. Needless to say, day one of the SKAM Summer takeover was a hit!
Day two started with a chic Jardin brunch, to a music conference to the BPM Supreme event hosted by DJ Hed from Real 92.3. To wrap up the two-day SKAM summit, DJ’s Chase B, DJ Crooked and Four Color Zack got party goers riled up and feeling good. The Highlight Room was transformed into SKAMLAND, the ultimate carnival with plenty of photo ops, carnival games, a ball pin and of course, epic music! The venue was filled as guests celebrated the finale of the summit as well as Kundu’s birthday. In addition to the SKAMLAND birthday festivities, Kudu also celebrated his big day with an elaborate dinner at the sleek Beverly Hills restaurant, AVRA. Attendees included familiar faces such as Tiffany Haddish, Lil Jon, Mario, Irv Gotti, Paula DeAnda, Shwayze, Too $hort, and Sean Kingston.
