For the first time, three fashion labels presented a collection with Fashion Scout for London Fashion Week. The partnership includes established designer Esa Liang, Punk Rave, and Light & Shadow Design Fashion Design Academy. The show was one that indulged the audience in a series of different moods and styles that resulted in a great show!
Punk Rave appeals to the contemporary definition of what fashion supporters would classify as’ ‘punk.’ To be ‘punk’ means to challenge the normative institutions, rebel, and stands out against the masses. This rebellious spirit is reflected in the Punk Rave collection. Their clothing attracts other ‘punk spirits’ and creates a feeling of unity. Punk Rave opened the show with a range of different white gowns, which seemingly surprised the crowd as the majority expected something instantly along the lines of “punk”. However, as the models continued to walk, the clothing evolved from that of white, to white and black, to solely black. The transition was delightful and everyone in the audience was fully immersed in the art of the way fashion was displayed.
Light & Shadow Global Fashion Design Academy joins fashion professors and students to produce various fashion collections. Their collection alter with different seasons and times of the day. The Academy encourages its students to develop and expand its creativity and experiment with different projects. Their designs in the fashion show held a lot more vibrance and color than the previous designs.
Designer Esa Liang can be characterized by her willingness to create and discover new, fresh thoughts on an ongoing basis. She operates by intuition and utilizes her heart to direct her path of designs. Liang’s targeted audience is stylish and unique, independent women. Her collection showcased a variety of different clothing incorporated with the colors red, black and silver. Some of the collection presented matte-black top hats, glittery trousers and metallic coats.
