Haven Rooftop Open Their Ski Chalet Rooftop For the Winter

A safe refuge for all New Yorkers this winter

On Tuesday, November 28th, Haven Rooftop opened up their amazing Ski Chalet.  This ultimate rooftop experience lets guests escape the harsh NYC winter and warm up with some specialty cocktails, small bites, and experience the cute décor and lighting that they set up.  This event had such a cute getup.  From fairy lights hanging from the ceiling to a phenomenal view of NYC, this rooftop has some incredible snapchat story potential that would make all of your friends, family, enemies, ex bfs, and acquaintances jealous.  And with the holiday season approaching, Haven Rooftop featured some of THE most festive drinks they could think of.

The Rice Pudding Martini made with Rumchata, Malibu Rum, Makers Mark, and Cinnamon was one of our favorites.  I know what you’re thinking.  Rice Pudding?  As a drink?  Hear me out.  It does not have actual rice in it. It has a not too overwhelming vanilla taste to it and paired with the cinnamon gives it a little kick.  Also, you can’t taste the alcohol too much in it.  That helps a lot.  There was another feature drink that anyone who is a coffee lover should have.  The Espresso Martini made with Grey Goose vodka, espresso, and Baileys gives you multiple kicks in different ways.  It’s like an elegant 4Loco with the amount of coffee and liquor in it.  And another drink that we loved was actually a hot cocktail drink called the Peppermint Cream.  This drink features Baileys, crème de cacao, crème de menthe, and chocolate liqueur.  Even the ingredients sound fancy.  But this drink helps warm you up and is essentially like a white hot chocolate.  Overall, this new rooftop hangout is where you want to go.  With great views and great drinks, there’s nothing here that would make you want to pass it up.
