Forevermark Diamonds debuted their new Fall 2016 Black Label Collection Wednesday night as well as the collaboration with artist Angie Crabtree.
This was the most exclusive collection of diamond cuts ever shown at a private cocktail event at Cedar Lake in New York City. As a company associated with DeBeers, the brand represents a new generation of diamonds that are cut with unprecedented supreme symmetry and accuracy in order for it to shine unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. The De Beers Group of Companies has spent the last two decades studying and perfecting how light travels within a diamond in order to optimize the shine based on its cut, polish, shape, and facet alignment.
For the first time, these shapes help these Black Label diamonds exhibit maximum brilliance, fire and scintillation, displaying an unmatched sparkle through the perfect symmetry of its facets. It is due to the unique symmetrical arrow pattern that requires exceptional craftsmanship and perfect proportions of the facets which makes Forevermark Black Label diamonds sparkle like no other. The Forevermark Black Label Collection features diamonds which are cut into the classic round, square, cushion, and oval shapes. Guests were invited to try on millions of dollars worth of diamonds as well as take photos with a professional photographer to capture the incredible shine and dazzle of these pieces.
The brand collaborated with artist Angie Crabtree who was able to capture the brilliance of the sparkle of each of the cuts of the diamonds available in the Forevermark Black Label Collection by magnifying the diamond facets to 1,000+ times in order to paint them on custom wrapped canvases in each shape. She captured the shine so brilliantly and accurately that the guests were fooled into thinking the paintings were photographs.
Celebrities including television personality Olivia Culpo, model Rachel Hilbert and influencers Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What and Arielle Nachmani of Something Navy were in attendance to catch a glimpse of the brilliance that night.
