This year, LA celebrated World IVF Day in a distinctly glamorous fashion with an intimate Beverly Hills gathering that united leaders from medicine, fashion, entertainment, philanthropy, and business in support of the Reproductive Research Foundation.
At the center of the evening was Dr. David Smotrich, founder of La Jolla IVF, the internationally recognized fertility practice that’s welcomed patients from over 100 countries and has helped bring an estimated 10,000 children into the world through its personalized approach to reproductive care.
The event was produced by Gurus Media and publisher Derek Warburton, with attendees that included internationally acclaimed Israeli-American designer Yigal Azrouël, television personalities Mary Bonnet and Sandra Vergara who were both wearing Yigal Azrouël designs, Miriam Smotrich, Tony Ferreira and Gant Griffis of The Swan House, plastic surgeon and founder of Forever Breast Dr. Michael K. Newman, endometriosis specialist Dr. Iris Kerin Orbuch, Kate Morgan of Morgan Publicity, TMZ host Charlie Neff, Camilo Triana and Christopher Kelsey of Cotrini, N.J. Falk of Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL), actress Kimberley Kim, and more distinguished guests.

The invite-only event began with a champagne reception and private shopping experience at The Swan House on Canon Drive, where Azrouël personally unveiled his newest collection. A portion of proceeds benefited the Reproductive Research Foundation through La Jolla IVF.
Dinner highlighted e. baldi’s signature approach to refined Italian hospitality. Guests enjoyed a curated menu beginning with Crostino di Polenta ai Funghi Porcini and Insalata di Carciofi e Finocchi, followed by Agnolotti di Granoturco with mascarpone and truffle butter. Main course selections included pan-fried Dover sole with lemon and capers or grilled New York steak with seasonal vegetables before concluding with the Torta Caprese, served alongside mixed berries and chocolate ice cream.
Bloom Boom Boutique Florist provided vibrant arrangements inspired by World IVF Day’s signature palette of blue, pink, and orange. And the colorful florals echoed throughout the evening’s custom signage, linens, and décor.
