Disney’s much anticipated live-action movie The Jungle Book just released two new clips and a new featurette to get fans even more excited.
The film directed by Jon Favreau follows the classic adventure story of Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. Mowgli no longer feels welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the help of a panther named Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) and free-spirited bear Baloo (Bill Murray). Along his venture Mowgli encounters difficult creatures including a hypnotizing python Kaa (Scarlett Johansson) and a smooth talking King Louie (Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.
The movie brings an all star cast together including Lupita Nyong’o as the voice of fiercely protective mother wolf Raksha, and Giancarlo Esposito as the voice of the wolf pack’s alpha male Akela to bring this classic to life.
The Jungle Book hits a theater near you April 15!
