On Monday March 21st, Jack Spade hosted an exclusive preview of their new Fall 2016 collection in their New York headquarters.
Although the brand is still fairly new compared to its sister label, Kate Spade, the company has two decades in its history. Founded on functionality and utility, Jack Spade has revamped its brand to reflect the modern man. The collection now features a decent line of suiting with muted palettes with a hint of orange, signature of the Jack Spade label. A full line of portable accessories in various styles are also available, including wallets, card holders, phone cases, and sunglasses made with sophistication in mind. Backpacks and briefcases take on its classic angled straps and knurled zippers to be operational in any kind of weather, available in a variety of colorways and coated canvas designs. The ready to wear line features sophistication and utility at its best, with durable cotton and waterproof textile combined with clean lines, modern fitting, and multipurpose linings. Celebrating utility design, camouflage takes on the main pattern for this line, made into durable waterproof outerwear and staples. The new collection is a refresh of permanent collection pieces with a modern edge.
