This season, KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism present YOHANIX by Tae-keun Kim and JARRET by Ji-yeon Lee for the womenswear Fall Winter 2016 Show.
YOHANIX by Tae-keum Kim
The collection titled “Hamlet’s Syndrome” emphasized on sensuality and mystery layered on top of the brand’s signature keen attention to geometric detail and structure. Silhouettes focused on a dark personality made based on a shadow-inspired color palette of black, mid-night blue, and army khaki, mud-grey, and carmine. Although dark, the pieces were playful in combining together unique textures that made for a stylish Scandinavian vibe with its color block patterns and layers. A highlight were slashed pants made from different fabrics.
JARRET by Ji-yeon Lee
