Fans of NBC hit “Chicago Fire” celebrate the 200th episode and their love for the squad of Chicago Firehouse 51. Some of the cast joined The Knockturnal for a look-back at the nearly 10-year journey and look-forward into what to expect going forward in the series already approved for a future season.
For 10 seasons, NBC has captured the drama and steadfast nature of a metropolitan engine company and the first responders who come to the rescue. Pivotal storylines showed the realistic struggles of firefighters and paramedics in their work and personal lives—under executive producers including Dick Wolf, and co-creators Derek Haas and Michael Brandt.

And David Eigenberg, Christian Stolte, and Joe Minoso have played NBC’s strong characters since the television series first debuted in 2012. Eigenberg, Stolte, and Minoso chatted with The Knockturnal ahead of the fifth episode of current season, number 10. The chemistry between the trio is unmatched, and they shared a few quips as they playfully detailed their experiences working with one another for almost a decade on the show in Chicago.
The 200th episode of Chicago Fire premieres on NBC on October 20 at 9 p.m. Besides the faces behind firefighters Joe Cruz, Christopher Hetrmann, and Mouch McHolland, viewers can watch all the action unfold with actors Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Kara Killmer, Miranda Rae Mayo, Alberto Rosende, Daniel Kyri, Hanako Greensmith, and Eamonn Walker. NBC promises that the episode will contain Casey’s (Spencer) “life-altering decision” as well as advancements into Mouch and Brett’s (Killmer) paramedicine program. We will also get updates on Cruz’ journey towards fatherhood.
