Set to hit theaters on September 29th, “Flatliners” is the 90’s sci-fi horror being brought back, that you want to catch.
Brought by Sony Pictures, Flatliners is a movie about 5 medical students who are interested and rather curious in the mystery of what lies beyond “life”.
They take part in an experiment. An experiment that stops their hearts for short time intervals in which they each almost die but are then, brought back to life. However, there are consequences that come with ‘cheating death’ per se.
The trailer teases each of their journeys, experiences, and possibly, their fates.
The movie stars Nina Dobrev from the hit TV series The Vampire Diaries as Marlo. It also stars, Kiersey Clemons from the movie Dope as Sophia. Most famously known for his role in the TV series 24, Kiefer Sutherland is also starring as Nelson.
Interestingly enough, in the original film during the 90s, Kiefer Sutherland also starred as Nelson, alongside Julia Roberts. It’s going to be very interesting to see him play this character with a whole new and different cast.
For what started as a “fun” experiment and one that has each of these characters “in control”, there comes lessons and ‘intrigue’ that one can’t wait to catch on the 29th of September.
As audiences will gasp and journey alongside these characters’ journey.
